The Palm Beach County Housing Authority (PBCHA) is seeking a Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) Deputy Director to provide support to the HCVP Director in the overall management and leadership of all business related to the administration of nearly 3,000 vouchers within its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. The HCV Deputy Director will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational management of the Housing Programs (leasing and recertification), Customer Relations and Family Self-Sufficiency divisions, demonstrating commitment to constant improvement, monitoring workflow to assure maximum productivity and making sound decisions on resource allocations. The Deputy Director will ensure that program operations are performing at a high level throughout the year and are achieving all performance standards, quality metrics and SEMAP goals as required by HUD. Experience with HUD programs, low-income housing or multi-family housing is required. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Affairs, Accounting, Sociology, Political Science or a closely related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Housing Choice Voucher, public housing, LIHTC, assisted apartment management or local government housing work, with at least three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
