The Housing Authority of Paducah in Paducah, Kentucky, is seeking a dynamic
and highly motivated individual with a passion for public housing for the
position of Executive Director. Proven supervisory, leadership, and team
building experience are required as the position necessitates a manager who
can bring the Authority’s diverse employees even closer together, transforming
a good team to an excellent team by developing each individual’s skills and
talents to their fullest potential. Under the general administrative direction of
the Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director will assume full
responsibility for all agency services including administration of the agency’s
855 units of public housing, development and modernization, grant
administration, HUD reporting and compliance, budgets, and implementation
of Board policies. Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
in business administration, public administration, social sciences, accounting,
finance, management or closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively
responsible supervisory experience in public housing administration, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree is
