Finance Director
Morristown Housing Authority(MHA) is currently seeking a Finance Director. The incumbent reports directly to the MHA Executive Director. The Finance Director performs highly responsible administrative and professional accounting work, supervises and provides professional and technical guidance to accounting staff, prepares monthly and annual financial reports, annual budgets, and maintains fiscal accountability for programs funded by grants and other methods. The MHA portfolio includes 672 publicly assisted housing units and 424 Housing Choice Vouchers. The position maintains all finance systems in compliance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD) regulations and guidelines in accordance with GAAP accounting principles. Candidates must have bachelors in accounting or finance and five (5) years of experience in accounting or closely related field. Prefer candidates with HUD based GAAP compliant accounting and regulation experience.
