Housing Choice Voucher Director – Palm Beach, FL

The Palm Beach County Housing Authority (PBCHA) is seeking a Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) Director to provide overall management and leadership for all business related to the administration of nearly 3,000 vouchers within its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. The HCV Director will provide daily direction and support to staff and ensure that all work products prepared by the department are completed in a timely manner and are produced with the highest quality. The HCVP Director will have significant responsibility related to the performance of the department, requiring knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and HUD regulations, in addition to the policies and procedures of the Palm Beach County Housing Authority. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Affairs, Accounting, Sociology, Political Science or a closely related field and a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Housing Choice Voucher, public housing, LIHTC, assisted apartment management or local government housing work, with at least six (6) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
